Christmas in Haiti

***This project has ended - over 220 ziploc were received for the children***
We couldn't have done it without you - Thank You!!

We are so excited that we will be holding a Christmas gathering in Village Belizaire and L'Artibonite Haiti this Christmas Season.  Renew Hope staff and their families along with our Haitian Pastors and teachers will be sharing the story of Christ's Birth and celebrating Christmas with everyone in the villages!  They will also be passing out Christmas gifts to the children in the community.  For many, this will be their first Christmas celebration and their first Christmas gifts! Many of you have heard of Operation Shoebox.  Renew Hope will be launching a twist on this program called Operation Ziploc :)  From November 8th through December 2nd, we will be collected Ziplocs filled with fun items to be distributed at the Christmas Celebration.  Simply pack your new items in a quart size ziploc bag and mail them to us at Renew Hope.  Here are a list of suggested items:

Boys - Harmonica, Yo-Yo, Matchbox cars, tennis ball, rubber band bracelets

Girls - Jump rope, ball and jax, hair accessories, rubber band bracelets, yo-yo

If you find other items that you think your child would like - please feel free to include those.  We just ask that they are child friendly, no military or weapons, and safe.

Help us make this years Christmas Celebration in Haiti great!
